    Didn’t think I’d actually be starting a thread about the Sentinel in historic photography, but there we are! Following yesterday’s very quiet retirement of the fleet, here’s a couple of images from me. Feel free to add your own…

    Yes, very subdued retirement. I did read somewhere that they are being sold as non-operational airframes, presumably all kit will be removed.

    I also understood that the Americans were very interested in these and there was a lend back option to us should we have needed them in the future.

    I did see them up close at Waddington and Fairford. Didn’t get too many photos of these, opportunity missed.
